Blended Gifts: A Funding Key to Growing Endowment Resources

Many donors would like to do more they think they can to benefit your association today than they think they can. There are many combination gifts that can make prospect’s giving go farther than a simple gift of cash, stock, or property. Blended gifts are gifts that help a prospect see the impact of giving today and continue their endowment support far into the future. Blended gifts are ideally suited for gifts to fund an endowment. The outright portion of the gift allows the donor to establish a new endowment or add to an existing one. The bequest or planned gift portion of the gift then is added to that same endowment when it is realized.
