11th Grade Families: Resume-Building Career & College-Prep Courses Through DACC

You are invited to a special event for families of 11th graders in districts served by DACC (Big Walnut, Buckeye Valley, Delaware, Olentangy, Westerville & Worthington).

Does your junior have an interest in app development & programming, digital design, facilities pre-engineering, healthcare tech, nail tech, or pharmacy tech? Are you aware of the educational opportunities available exclusively to seniors in these fields at the Delaware Area Career Center?

The Delaware Area Career Center and At The Core are partnering to bring you a deep discussion on the one-year programs offered to students during their senior year. Key details about the unique and engaging curriculums available for rising seniors at DACC will be shared.

• These one-year programs provide students with industry credentials, college credits, professional contacts, an impressive resume, and actual experience for their next steps—college and/or career.
• Already registered for classes next year? It is not too late to add one of these career & college-prep elective courses to your schedule.
• Most programs take place after the normal school day hours (2:45 – 5:00 pm). The Pharmacy Technician program is the only Senior-Only program offered during the day.

A student’s high school years can be customized to create a pathway toward their successful future. Parents and students, join us for an interactive discussion to learn about the programs offered, how to apply, school day logistics, connections with industry, how it works with an IEP/504 plan, and much more!

DACC offers 6 career and college-prep programs for seniors only including: App Development & Programming Technician, Digital Design Techniques, Facilities Pre-Engineering Program, Healthcare Technician, Nail Technician, and Pharmacy Technician.
